New recycling guidelines New recycling guidelines: Due to changes in the market, Idaho County Recycling is only able accept: CARDBOARD, NEWSPAPER & INSERTS, STEEL/ALUMINUM CANS & BOOKS (no magazines, office/mixed paper or shredded paper, etc. FYI: Pacific Steel & Recycling in Lewiston will accept the paper ICR cannot recycle—Magazines, mail, white paper, shred etc. (This does not need to be separated.) They also accept plastic bottles #1 and #2-- NO FOOD CONTAINERS. Their hours are 8:00 through 4:00 Monday through Friday. They close at dark—call ahead if you have a question
