Today, we have the honor of welcoming incoming Idaho County Sheriff Doug Ulmer. Sheriff Ulmer has been in law enforcement for 33 years, 31 of those years at Idaho County. Sheriff Ulmer brings a great amount of experience, local community involvement, and we are looking forward to the assets and leadership he brings to this department. Awaiting being sworn in themselves are re-elected County Commissioner Skipper Brandt, newly elected County Commissioner Ted Lindsley and re-elected prosecutor Kirk McGregor. Peter Arnoti sent us a copy of the January 4, 2021 article about his father Ladd Arnoti’s painting in the local Wolfratshausen, Germany paper.   That’s Mayor Klaus Heilinglechner with the painting. Click on the photo for a larger view.
