Patriots lose twice
ST. JOHN BOSCO ACADEMY BOYS BASKETBALL SCHEDULE FOR 2020-21
Unfortunately for the St. John Bosco Patriots, the new year started the same way the old year ended, with a pair of losses. On Tuesday, Jan. 5, they lost at C.V. 48-68, no further details available. On Thursday, Jan. 7, they lost at Timberline 21-72. They are now 0-5 in league play and 0-7 overall. At Timberline
Timberline jumped on the Patriots from the start, racing out to a 6-31
lead by the end of the first quarter. The Spartans increased the lead
to 52-13 by halftime and 21-74 by the end of the third quarter.
In the running clock fourth quarter the Spartans outscored the Patriots 0-3. Luke Stubbers led the Patriots in scoring with 8 points with Cody Wassmuth scoring 5. Clay Weckman, Tory Chmelik and Dustin Kaschmitter each scored 2 points and Wyatt Weckman and Levi Wassmuth added 1 point each. Cody Wassmuth scored Bosco’s only 3-point field goal.
