Pirates split league games; Schedule changes The Prairie Pirates split a pair of league
games this past week as they lost a home game against Lapwai 60-94 on
Tuesday, Jan. 19, then won at Genesee 58-40 on Friday, Jan. 22.
. . .
The boys home game against Potlatch will be Friday, Jan. 29, at 6 p.m.
instead of Saturday. Also the home game against Logos has been moved to
Thursday, Feb. 11, to avoid a girls District Tournament conflict.

Lady Pirates split league games The Prairie Lady Pirates split a pair of
league game as they lost at Lapwai 44-60 on Thursday, Jan. 21 then
bounced back to win 58-28 at Cottonwood over Genesee on Saturday, Jan.

Also on Monday, Jan. 25 the JV team added a game against Kamiah and pulled out a 50-46 win.

Patriots win 2 of 3 games
The St. John Bosco Patriots were 2-1
last week, picking up their first win of the season Saturday, Jan. 16
against the Lapwai C team, 47-40 at Lapwai. No further details
available. They also picked up their first league win of the season
with a 63-39 win over Nezperce at Cottonwood Tuesday, Jan. 19. On
Thursday, Jan. 21 they hosted Kendrick and lost 29-68.

Story hour for pre-schoolers is
a weekly event at the Prairie community library. Storyteller Carissa
Jones reads beloved books, and leads the children in song and
activities. All children and their parents are welcome to come
every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Present were: Jamison Lustig,
Micah Holthaus, Ava Prigge, Emily Prigge, Sadie Holthaus, Carissa
Jones, Addie Jones, Miles Prigge, and Easton Winkles. Not shown in
