15 turn out for PHS baseball
2021 PRAIRIE BASEBALL
There are 15 players turned out for the Prairie Baseball team this Spring. Kyle Westhoff will return as coach after missing out on last season. Dustin Behler will be the assistant coach. Seniors on the team are Dean Johnson, Connor Schwartz, Lane Remacle, Dalton Ross and Mathew Seubert. Juniors are Chase Kaschmitter, Travis Alfrey, Brody Hasselstrom and Alex McElroy. Colton McElroy is the lone sophomore. Freshmen are Ethan Thompson, Cody Kaschmitter, Reese Sears, Trenton Lorentz and Noah Behler. There are some returning experienced starters as Johnson, Schwartz, Remacle, Ross and Chase Kaschmitter all were starters 2 years ago. The Pirates were to play their season opener Tuesday, March 16 against Grangeville at C.V.’s field. Their next game will be against Clearwater Valley this Friday, March 19 at C.V.
