Jr. High Debate Night set There is a class of 8th graders that have been working hard learning about debate – what it is all about and how to actually do one. It has been an interesting few weeks, watching these students learn a ton and then actually putting it into action. It really is amazing what they each have to offer. So, I want these kids to get to display what they have learned to people in the community, not just their teacher and peers. Tuesday, May 18th has been designated as the first Junior High Debate Night. All are invited to come and watch. The schedule is as follows: 4:00 - 5:15 Tristian Mader & Matt Wemhoff vs. Lukas Bennett & Johnathan Martin 5:15 - 6:30 Aubree Rehder & Briggs Rambo vs. Jack Crull, Laramie Richardson, and Natalie Goeckner 6:30 - 7:45 Monica Goeckner & Clarise Rehder vs. Owen Tran & Drake Cronan 7:45 - 9:00 Kaylie Lockett & Owen McIntire vs. Carter Shears & Eli Goeckner I just ask that if you attend, you are not expected to stay the entire evening. But, please enter in between debates, rather than during a debate. All debates will be held in Mrs. Schumacher’s classroom in the lower level of the junior high/high school building.
