Local man's body found At 1847 on June 2nd, 2021, the Idaho County Dispatch Center received notification that the body of David Spencer had been recovered down river from the crash site. David went missing on May 22nd, 2021, after the boat he was on capsized in the Salmon River near Pine Bar Recreation Area. The Idaho County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Idaho County Search and Rescue, Cottonwood Police Department, Life Flight, Idaho Fish and Game, Idaho County Sheriff's Posse, Grangeville Mountain Rescue, the family and friends of David Spencer, volunteers with jet boats and aircrafts, and the many other citizens who volunteered their time to assist in this search. Notification to the family has been made. The Idaho County Sheriff's Office sends our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of David Spencer. |
