This is Homecoming Week This week is Homecoming Week at Prairie High School with activities all week. There were dress up days at the Jr./Sr. High all week with the themes being ‘Merica Monday; Tourist Tuesday; Western Wednesday; Parents Day Thursday and Spirit Day Friday. The annual PowderPuff Football game was held Wednesday, Sept. 15 and was won by the Senior-Freshman team 6-0. That was followed by the PowderPuff Volleyball in the Elementary School gym with the Seniors winning. The Lady Pirates have a home volleyball match against Genesee on Thursday with a C game set to start at 5 p.m. followed by the JV and varsity matches. On Friday the Homecoming Parade is set to start at 6 p.m. with lineup behind Gem Builders at 5:45 p.m. The Homecoming Game against Logos is set to start at 7 p.m. at the football field on Friday, Sept. 17. The Homecoming Queen and King will be announced at halftime as well as the float winners. Candidates are pictured at right. The Homecoming Dance will be after the game in the high school cafeteria until 11:30 p.m.
