District Tournaments start Saturday The Prairie and St. John Bosco Volleyball teams start their District Tournaments this Saturday, Oct. 16. Prairie
Prairie is the #3 seed into District. They will play their first two matches of the tournament at Potlatch.
They open against #6 seeded Logos at 1 p.m. Saturday. With a win they would play the Potlatch-Lapwai winner at 5 p.m. The winner of that match clinches a trip to State as they would advance to the District championship match on Thursday at 6 p.m. at LCSC. If Prairie wins their opener but loses the second match, they would then play at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19 at the LCSC Activity Center in a loser out match. That winner would then play for third place on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. with the winner then advancing to a state play-in Saturday, Oct. 23 at Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene at 1 p.m. If Prairie loses their opening match they would play the Potlatch-Lapwai loser at 3 p.m. Saturday at Potlatch. If they lose that they are done. If they win they would play at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19 in a loser-out match. A win Tuesday puts them in the third place match. State will be at the LCSC Activity Center on Oct. 29-30. St. John Bosco
The Lady Patriots are the #4 seed and will
play #5 seeded Nezperce, at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kendrick High School.
If they win they would play #1 seed Kendrick at 3 p.m., also at
Kendrick High School. If they play Kendrick and lose, they would play
again at 7 p.m. Saturday in a loser-out match. That winner plays again
on Monday, Oct. 18 at the LCSC Activity Center at 8 p.m. If they should
beat both Nezperce and Kendrick, they would play at 6:30 p.m. Monday at
the Activity Center. If they lose to Nezperce in their opener, they wouldn’t play again until Monday, Oct. 18 at 5:00 p.m. at the LCSC Activity Center. With a win in that match, they would play again at 8 p.m. Monday.
