Holcomb is new Cottonwood mayor Keith Holcomb was appointed to be the new mayor Cottonwood at a special meeting of the Cottonwood City Council Wednesday, Nov. 17. After he was sworn in the Council voted to appoint Debby O’Neill to fill the council position vacated by Holcomb. Holcomb then swore in O’Neill. In other business at the special meeting, a joint service agreement with Idaho County was approved. This covers dispatching fees and mutual aid. The new sheriff wanted to have something in writing in place. Also pay raises were approved for the police department personnel. These were budgeted raises. In a final order of business a banking resolution was approved which dealt with adding Holcomb as a co-signer for the city accounts. Keith Holcomb recites the Oath of Office as read to him by City Clerk Lynn Thompson. Holcomb was appointed as the new mayor, replacing Pepper Harman, who had moved outside the city limits.
