February events for Tri-Parish Youth Dear Youth in Christ, The sunshine is coming! As we look toward the promise of warmer days are hearts fill will hope. Hope is the greatest gift for our future. We can move forward knowing that there is always something more around the corner. Jesus is the hope that truly gives us life! As we gather together in February as a youth group in the name of Jesus, we strive to build upon this hope and move out in active response in all that we do! We will begin this month with a high school girls’ session on “friendship”. Our night of Radiance will start at 6:30 on Feb. 3rd at the OMG room with food, followed by our session at 7:00 p.m. Girls invite your friends and let’s dig into the meaning of friendship as women of God! On Friday Feb. 4th everyone is invited to spend time in Adoration as we gather to praise the Lord, reflect on His word, ask for our intentions and yield to his answers. Prayer is powerful and by spending time with Jesus, you grow in Him and Him in you! On Saturday, Feb. 5th the Jamacia team will meet at the Prairie Elementary School cafeteria to make cinnamon rolls at 10:00 a.m. Please remember to bring an apron and have your hair back as we will be become master chefs for the day! Stand strong in this love for it is truth beyond our understanding! All ICYC forms are due by Feb. 10th to Debbie. This time is set aside for our Jr. High and High School youth. We will have food and social time from 5:00 to 6:00 and Adoration along with music from 7:00 to 8:00. I am asking you to bring you prayers, heart, needs and intentions to this night of prayer. It will be a time for you to quietly and spiritually grow in your relationship with God as you encounter him in Adoration. I will be gone during the weekend of Feb. 25th -27th for the Hallisey tournament in Boise. The last week of Feb. I have left open for boy’s state. I have a grandson playing and definitely want to be a part of his journey if it happens.
