Track team competes at 2 meets
The Prairie track team competed in a pair of track meets this past week. They were at the White Pine League Meet Saturday, April 23 at Kamiah and then at a meet they hosted Monday, April 25.
The Prairie Meet was moved from Tuesday, April 26 to Monday due to expected heavy rains on Tuesday.

White Pine Meet

Shane Hanson and Zach Rambo each won individual events while the boys 4x100 and girls 4x200 relays each won at the White Pine Meet at Kamiah. Zach Rambo won the 200 at the Prairie Meet Monday.

Hanson won the discus with a mark of 137’11”, a new personal best. He was also 6^th in the high jump at 5’2” and 19^th in the 100 at 13.08.
Rambo won the long jump with a personal best of 18’10” and was also 2^nd in the 400 at 52.58 and 3^rd in the 200 at 24.22.
The boys 4x100 tea of Jesse Cronan, T.J. Hibbard, Noah Geis and Rambo won with a time of 47.41.
The girls 4x200 team of Alli Geis, Aubree Rehder, Julia Rehder and Kristin Wemhoff won in a time of 1:53.16.
In other boys results Hibbard was 2^nd in the discus at 133’10” and 5^th in the 100 in 12.13.
Geis was 6^th in the 400 in 55.90, 8^th in the 100 in 12.36 and 23^rd in the discus at 74’7½”.
Bennie Elven was 4^th in the discus at 117’2¼” and 32^nd in the 200 in 28.13.
Lee Forsmann was 5^th in the discus at 115’½” and tied for 11^th in the long jump at 15’4½”.
Brody Hasselstrom was 6^th in the discus at 113’6½”.
Briggs Rambo was 7^th in the 100 hurdles in 22.77 , 8^th in the 300 hurdles in 52.92 and 22^nd in the long jump at 14’2”.
Matt Wemhoff was 9^th in the high jump at 4’8” and tied for 11^th in the long jump at 15’4½”.
Zane Uptmor was 19^th in the discus at 80’9¾” and 30^th in the 200 in 28.10.
Drake Cronan was 26^th in the discus at 67’2”, 31^st in the 400 in 1:06.22 and 43^rd in the 100 in 14.06.
The 4x200 team of Elven, Forsmann, Uptmor and Hanson finished 8^th in 1:48.02.
The medley relay team of Elven, Forsmann, Uptmor and Drake Cronan finished 6^th in 4:18.92.
As a team the boys placed 3^rd with 83 points behind Kamiah and Logos.
In other girls results Wemhoff was 2^nd in 3 events. The 100 in 13.20, the 200 in 27.09 and the 400 in 1:00.76.
Julia Rehder was 4^th in the long jump at 13’7”.
Geis was 8^th in the 400 in 1:08.25.
Elizabeth Severns was 8^th in the discus at 74’3”, 13^th in the 100 hurdles in 24.50 and 17^th in the shot put at 22’8”.
Olivia Klapprich was 9^th in the long jump at 12’8½” and 20^th in the 200 in 34.05.
Ashlyn North was 10^th in the 100 hurdles in 21.91, 21^st in the 200 in 34.49, 21^st in the long jump at 10’5¼” and 27^th in the 100 in 15.78.
Rebecca Seubert was 12^th in the 100 hurdles in 23.12 and 24^th in the long jump at 9’9”.
Aubree Rehder was 12^th in the 100 in 14.72.
Harlee Brannan was 13^th in the discus at 69’1”, 22^nd in the shot at 18’10½” and 23^rd in the long jump at 9’9½”.
Meghan Fowler was 16^th in the discus at 67’4” and 24^th in the shot put at 18’2½”.
Morgan Pack was 18^th in the 400 in 1:27.16; 29^th in the 200 in 38.17 and 35^th in the 100 in 17.53.
Holli Schumacher was 19^th in the 200 in 33.38 and 31^st in the 100 in 16.55.
The medley team of Geis, Seubert, Julia Rehder and Aubree Rehder placed 2^nd in 2:08.37.
The 4x100 team of Geis, Seubert, Aubree Rehder and Julia Rehder placed 4rd in 56.88.
The 4x400 relay team of Brannan, Fowler, Pack and Schumacher placed 5^th in 5:33.82.
As a team the girls placed 4^th with 59 points behind Logos, Troy and Kamiah.

Prairie Invite

Zach Rambo won 2 events and was second in another at the Prairie Invite that was moved up from Tuesday to Monday due to expected bad weather.
Rambo won the 100 meter dash in 11.55 and the 200 in 23.73. He was second in the long jump at 17’10¾”.
For the girls the 4x100 relay finished first with Geis, Julia Rehder, Aubree Rehder and Wemhoff recording a time of 53.95.
Other boys results:
Hanson was 2^nd in the discus at 134’5”, 5^th in the high jump at 5’4” and 20^th in the 100 at 12.83.
Geis was 2^nd in the 200 at 25.42, 7^th in the 100 at 12.01 and 21^st in the discus at 84’1½”.
Hibbard was 3^rd in the 100 in 11.73 and 3^rd in the discus at 133’5”.
Briggs Rambo was 3^rd in the 100 hurdles in 23.42, 3^rd in the 300 hurdles in 54.07 and 19^th in the long jump at 13’4½”.
Hasselstrom was 6^th in the discus at 118’4” and 15^th in the 100 at 12.55.
Forsmann was 8^th in the discus at 114’10”, 13^th in the 200 in 27.67 and 14^th in the long jump at 14’5¼”.
Wemhoff was 8^th in the 200 in 26.52, 9^th in the high jump at 5’0”, 10^th in the long jump at 15’4½” and 18^th in the 100 in 12.68.
Uptmor was 10^th in the 400 in 1:02.90, 15^th in the 200 in 28.55 and 15^th in the discus at 95’6”.
Drake Cronan was 15^th in the 400 in 1:07.78, 16^th in the 200 in 29.03 and 23^rd in the discus at 75’10”.
The 4x200 team of Drake Cronan, Briggs Rambo, Forsmann and Uptmor was 4^th in 1:50.56.
The 4x100 team of Hasselstrom, Hibbard, Geis and Rambo appeared to finish first but had an illegal exchange.
As a team the boys placed 3^rd with 83½ points.
In other girls results Wemhoff was 2^nd in the 100 in 13.01, 2^nd in the 200 in 26.59 and 3^rd in the long jump at 13’8”.
Julia Rehder was 2^nd in the long jump at 14’¼”, 4^th in the 200 in 28.96 and 6^th in the 100 in 14.02.
Sarah Lustig was 3^rd in the discus at 81’6” and 14^th in the shot put at 20’11”.
Severns was 4^th in the discus at 80’3”, 8^th in the 100 hurdles in 25.01 and 12^th in the shot put at 21’9”.
Geis was 5^th in the long jump at 13’2¼”, 6^th in the 200 at 29.46 and 7^th in the 100 in 14.21 .
North was 5^th in the 100 hurdles in 21.35, 19^th in the long jump at 10’11½” and 22^nd in the 100 in 15.91.
Seubert was 7^th in the 100 hurdles in 23.94, 12^th in the 100 in 14.58 and 20^th in the long jump at 10’8”.
Klapprich was 7^th in the long jump at 12’11½” and 10^th in the 200 in 33.45.
Schumacher was 9^th in the 400 in 1:17.16, 11^th in the 200 in 33.62 and 23^rd in the 100 in 15.96.
Pack was 10^th in the 400 in 1:25.98, 17^th in the 200 in 39.69 and 28^th in the 100 in 17.22.
Brannan was 10^th in the discus at 69’0”, 18^th in the long jump at 10’9½” and 18^th in the shot put at 17’6”.
Aubree Rehder was 15^th in the 100 in 14.73 and 16^th in the long jump at 10’11½”.
Fowler was 13^th in the discus at 66’9” and 16^th in the shot put at 19’11”.
The 4x200 relay of Brannan, Fowler, Lustig and Severns was third in 2:22.01.
The medley relay of North, Klapprich, Seubert and Aubree Rehder was 3^rd in 2:11.26.
As a team the girls placed 3^rd with 88½ pts.

Elven and Shears break school records
The Prairie Junior High track team has competed at 2 meets so far this season. On Tuesday, April 12 they were at Kamiah and on Thursday, April 21 they were at Cottonwood.

KMS Meet

Sage Elven won both the discus and shot put at the Kamiah Middle School Track meet held Tuesday, April 12.
She won the discus with a school record mark of 103’10½” using the same size discus as the high school girls. She won the shot put with a mark of 31’9” and was also 5^th in the 200 meter dash in 31.69.
Sierra Oliver also had a first place finish in the 200 with a time of 30.78 and was third in the 100 in 14.75.
The girls also won the 4x200 and 4x400 relays as they took first in the team competition with 130½ pts.
The 4x200 team of Avery Riener, Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz and Oliver had a time of 2:06.31. the 4x400 team of Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz, Elven and Sydney Shears won in a time of 2:26.50.
The top finisher for the boys team was Ben Secrest who took second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:03.46. He also took 4^th in the 200 in 28.50 and 5^th in the high jump at 4’10”.
The boys team placed 5^th out of 10 team with 48½ pts.

In the 100 meter dash Nadia Cash was 9^th in 15.06; Kennedy Riener was 12^th in 15.18; Avery Riener was 21^st in 15.75; Lillian Rehder was 27^th in 16.03; Hailey Hanson was 36^th in 16.41; Ella McLeod was 39^th in 16.62 and Carmen Ove was 59^th in 17.59.

In the 400 meter dash Aubree Geis was 4^th in 1:15.97; Uhlenkott as 5^th in 1:16.07; Kylee Riggers was 7^th in 1:16.97; Breanne Schwartz was 9^th in 1:17.69; Evelyn Gehring was 11^th in 1:18.75; McLeod was 13^th in 1:20.41; Halee Rowland was 20^th in 1:28.40 and Ove was 23^rd in 1:31.0.
In the 800 Maggie Nuxoll was 3^rd in 3:07.62 and Sydney Shears as 4^th in 3:08.62.
In the 1600 Nuxoll was 4^th in 6:49.59.
In the 75 meter hurdles Callie Remacle was 4^th in 15.46.
In the 200 meter hurdles Nuxoll was 7^th in 40.69; Remacle was 8^th in 42.35 and Gehring was 12^th in 44.63.
In the discus Brooke Bennet was 23^rd at 35.10”.
In the high jump Remacle was 2^nd at 4’5” and Shears was 3^rd at 4’3”.
In the long jump Remacle was 9^th at 11’½”; Geis was 11^th at 10’9”; Cash was 13^th at 10’7”; Riggers was 15^th at 10’3½”; Uhlenkott was 19^th at 9’10½”; Schlader was 22^nd at 9’9”; Nuxoll was 36^th at 8’9”; Rehder was 42^nd at 7’10” and Ove was 47^th at 6’8”.
The 4x100 team of Cash, Schlader, McLeod and Rehder was 4^th in 1:02.63. the team of Geis, Rowland, Gehring and Shears was 5^th in 1:03.50.
The 4x200 team of Schlader, Kennedy Riener, Rowland and Cash was 5^th in 2:12.78.
The medley team of Avery Riener, Kennedy Riener, Hanson and Riggers was 4^th in 2:26.50.
In other boys results Jackson Enneking was 11^th in the 100 meter dash in 14.44.
In the 200 meter dash Payton Stamper was 3^rd in 27.71; Damian Cronan was 11^th in 29.94; Enneking was 19^th in 32.33; Ashton Martin was 22^nd in 33.03; Kade Quintal was 29^th in 34.82; Gabe Decaria was 33^rd in 29.40 and George Villamor was 34^th in 42.29.
In the 400 Caden Armbrust was 10^th in 1:09.91; Decaria was 15^th in 1:28.97 and Villamor was 20^th in 1:45.97.
In the 75 hurdles Landon Riener was 10^th in 16.18.
In the shot put Martin was 20^th at 22’4½” and Dylan Klapprich was 27^th at 20’2”.
In the discus Armbrust was 3^rd at 81’5”, Cronan was 13^th at 64’11” and Klapprich was 16^th at 59’4”.
In the long jump Stamper was 4^th at 15’½”; Cronan was 12the at 12’7½”; Decaria was 35^th at 9’11”; Riener was 37^th at 9’8” and Villamor was 47^th at 8’5”.
The 4x100 team of Cronan, Klapprich, Martin and Stamper was 5^th in 57.10.
The 4x200 team of Armbrust, Enneking, VonBargen and Secrest was 2^nd in 1:56.94.
The medley team of Quintal, Klapprich, Riener and VonBargen was 7^th in 2:27.82.

Prairie Meet

At the Prairie meet two more school records were broken. Elven broke the shot put record this time with a first place winning mark of 35’1”. Also Shears set a new mark in the high jump with a first place finish at 4’8”.
Elven also won the discus with a mark of 96’3” and was 4^th in the 200 in 32.6.
Shears was also 2^nd in the 800 in 3:06.6.
Oliver again won the 200 with a personal best time of 29.9 and was third in the 100 in 14.9.
The girls team also had a pair of winning relays. The 4x200 team of Avery Riener, Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz and Oliver won with a time of 2:04.9.
The 4x400 team of Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz, Elven and Shears won with a time of 5:05.8.
The girls team placed 1^st with 167½ points, almost double that of runner-up Grangeville.
For the boys team Secrest won the 200 in 1:02.4. He was also 2^nd in the high jump at 5’0” and 4^th in the 200 in 27.8.
The boys team placed 5^th with 67.83 points.

In the 100 meter dash Cash was 7^th in 15.2; Lacey Schwartz was 10^th in 15.5; Avery Riener was 19^th in 16.2; Rehder was 26^th in 16.3; Hanson was 33^rd in 16.5; McLeod was 43^rd in 17.4 and Brooke Bennett was 68^th in 19.4.
In the 400 Uhlenkott was 3^rd in 1:11.5; Lacey Schwarz was 5^th in 1:15.1; Geis was 6^th in 1:16.1; Riggers was 8^th in 1:18.0; Hanson was 11^th in 1:21.6 and Breanne Schwartz was 20^th in 1:32.2.

Remacle was 5^th in the 75 hurdles in 15.0.
In the 200 hurdles Remacle was 2^nd in 37.7 and Nuxoll was 5^th in 38.5.
In the shot put Bennett was 27^th at 16’2”.
In the discus Bennett was 18^th at 37’1”.
In the high jump Remacle was 2^nd at 4’6”.
In the long jump Schlader was 6^th at 11’8¾”; Rehder was 10^th at 10’8”; Cash was 11^th at 10’7¾”; Remacle was 13^th at 10’2”; Nuxoll and Riggers tied for 17^th at 10’0” and Breanne Schwartz was 32^nd at 8’10¾”.
The 4x100 team of Schlader, Kennedy Riener, Rehder and Cash was 4^th in 1:01.0. The 4x100 team of Avery Riener, Geis, Gehring and Shears was 6^th in 1:03.9.
The 4x200 team of Schlader, Kennedy Riener, Hanson and Cash was 4^th in 2:07.8. The 4x200 team of Uhlenkott, Gehring, Geis and Riggers was 6^th in 2:12.9.
The 4x400 team of Uhlenkott, Rehder, Schlader and Gehring was 2^nd in 5:22.3.
The medley team of Avery Riener, Kennedy Riener, Hanson and Riggers was 3^rd in 2:27.2

In the 800 VonBargen was 2^nd in 2:27.7, Quintal was 10^th in 3:00.8 and Riener was 15^th in 3:17.4.
In the 75 hurdles Riener was 12^th in 16.1.
In the shot put Martin was 10^th at 24’10” and Klapprich was 31^st at 17’1”.
In the discus Armbrust was 8^th at 64’3”, Cronan was 13^th at 58’7” and Klapprich was 23^rd at 50’7”.
In the long jump Stamper was 3^rd at 14’9” and Villamor was 33^rd at 8’7”.
In the triple jump Quintal was 5^th at 26’7½”.
The 4x100 team of Cronan, Klapprcih, Martin and Stamper was 9^th in 1:03.0.
The 4x200 team of Armbrust, Enneking, VonBargen and Secrest was 2^nd in 1:55.2.
The 4x440 team of Armbrust, VonBargen, Quintal and Enneking was 2^nd in 5:00.0.
The medley team of Quintal, Riener, Klapprich and Martin was 6^th in 2:25.9.
