37 to graduate Friday at PHS Valedictorian Evan Schwartz will lead the 37 members of the Prairie High School class of 2022 at graduation ceremonies this Friday, June 3 at 7 p.m. at the PHS gym. Salutatorians are Laney Forsmann and Ali Rehder. 14 more students will graduate with high honors achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above. They are Jeffrey Arnzen, Connor Brown, Reed Chapman, Shae Dinning, Jade Gehring, Wade Goeckner, T.J. Hibbard, Chase Kaschmitter, Olivia Klapprich, Delanie Lockett, Zach Rambo, Wyatt Ross, Lane Schumacher and Kyle Schwartz. 9 students will graduate with honors having achieved a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49. They are Travis Alfrey, Jesse Cronan, Katteri Duman, Anna Everson, Isaiah Fowler, Brody Hasselstrom, Molly Johnson, Mackenzie Key and Alex McElroy. Also to graduate are Maggie Denham, Gracie Farr, Elycia Graham, Rebecca Jones, Trinity Martinez, Jose Ove, Josie Remacle, Zane Reuter, Ladd Schubert, Aspen Spencer and Wesley Tucker-Hall. Emily Cash will be the Commencement Speaker. She is a Prairie teacher as well as a PHS alum. The class flower is the white rose. The class color is gold. The class song is “These Days” by Dan Caplen, Jess Glunne, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis The class motto is “Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you’ll be among the stars.” - Dr. Seuss |
