USA Today reports “5 mainstream denominations which have embraced the homosexual agenda: who ordain homosexual/clergy, who bless same sex unions. Evangelical Lutheran Church, Presbyterian USA, Episcopal, American Baptist, United Church of Christ,” and now we can add the Methodists. Nugget: Battles rage within these. Media is involved in an obvious crusade to legitimize homosexuality. “It’s the same as being left-handed.” On TV we have “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”=makeover. “Boy Meets Boy”=dating game with 15 choosing one. Almost all movies have a token gay character, as well as sitcoms, Ellen DeGeneres, commercials? LOGO, The New Normal-NBC. Drag Queen, Gay Day. Gay Pride week/month. Gay Olympics. Anti bullying==buzz word for affirmative action. What is an/the agenda? It is – normalization. What do all these characters have in common? They are sensitive, caring, funny and charming; while conversely, Preachers are always the skulking pedophiles. Another Tactic is Overstating the statistics. Most famous – The Kenzie Report = 10%. It was refuted by all other polls, where the real numbers are 2-4% male and 1-2% female. The Result = it is not politically correct, and in many cases illegal to speak against it. To do so is “Hate Speech.” Canada = bill C250 brings up to 6 months jail time. A Pentecostal preacher in Sweden served 6 months for saying homosexuality is “abnormal and perverted.” The ancient Hebrews, Egyptians and Assyrians all had laws against homosexuality. It was commonplace in Biblical Greece as well as Rome towards its fall, but never has a culture expressed a preference for homosexuality---Until now! I watched in awe as a young contestant on America’s Got Talent told her story of “coming out.” She received a standing ovation from thousands of people—before she ever sang a note. GLOBE (Gay, lesbian or bi-sexual employees) was an organization promoted by the Clinton administration in which homosexual federal employees were given preferential -? Hiring? Housing? while you paid for it. Hat Crimes Legislation? I think not, and here's why. Killing someone is against the law. T’was always thus. But now, if someone kills a lesbian, they may get ten more years than say someone who murders my dear wife, who is straight. Result? Society has ascribed more worth to the lesbian only by virtue of her “sexuality.” Come join us Sunday the 11th at 7 p.m. as we answer Four Vital Questions w/regard to homosexuality: 1) “Was I born this way?” and ultimately, does it matter? This is most commonly an argument: “If God made me this way, how can He turn around and condemn me?” 2) What does the Bible Say? Principals and Commandments. 3) What’s the danger? “I mean if you disagree, what’s the harm?” 4) How should my Church respond? Should we “respond?” Or should we have a position? Be in prayer as this is no longer avoidable. |
