to the editor from this week's Chronicle Redneck Review! No. 385 - 9/11/2022 Continued look here at current topics which are still in the news or have been recently! 1) Continued 2020 election controversy - New local showing of "2000 Mules" drew a sizable crowd Sunday at our Blue Fox theater, and will be showing again at 6:30 P.M. Tuesday, 9/13.Put together by a decades old group called something like "Truth in Elections" and narrated by Dinesh D' Souza, this hour+ long movie shows "Mules," individuals who picked up bundles of ballots from one location, delivering them around the assigned area to official drop boxes, AFTER THE POLLS WERE CLOSED, and maybe, just maybe, provides a possible clue why those who stayed up until polls were closed election night, with Trump ahead in several key states, like myself, were amazed that Biden was ahead the next morning WHEN POLLS WERE OPENED! The movie was free I believe, but donations are accepted, 6:30, 9/13. I have seen the video, which argues that some 2000 "Mules" are identified doing this work! 2) A thought which continues to NAG me! Why I have to ask, are so many in the pro-abortion group so unhappy with those like myself who continue to disagree with the entire idea! After all, abortions are still available in several states which willingly solicit those who still want that procedure, often with help to make the trip, and even a comment from our president that funds and transportation might be available for those who need help for the trip! Would it not be great for a young (or older) woman to get a free trip to a site which will maybe even provide the procedure free! Sort of a paid vacation to rid oneself of a potential nuisance child! Which forces me to add this thought! Since last week it was documented that about 3,350/day of these procedures have taken place since Roe v. Wade in 1973, some 60+ million, I have to wonder, do today's pro-abort backers ever feel grateful that their parents did not choose to abort them? Maybe even ask, is the world better off today because they did not? And why not ask also, would those same pro-abort supporters be thankful that pro-lifers like myself were battling back then as now to stop the process being used on anyone, including them? Oh well! A lot of crazy things are happening today that make no sense in my opinion! 3) And hey! What about the flood of illegal immigrants still flowing unchecked across our southern border? Still with seemingly no complaints and no concern from Joe Biden, our current president! And we do recall that he actually invited them to come in at the beginning of his tenure! With no Trump wall to stop them! No need for social distancing, no need to wear a mask, and, O yes, no need to be checked as a potential carrier of that DEADLY COVID we were warned about, time and time again, forcing school closures, and business bankruptcies due to lack of customers! Why even many states demanded churches close their doors to prevent additional victims! And even in some cases, prosecuted or at least persecuted those brave few which defied the illegal government command, and carried on their normal activities as before! I must say I am glad and proud to live in Cottonwood ID which did not miss a beat on school closures! Our children went on to school as usual, and played sports as usual, though some limitations on attendance of spectators were endured during that first year! Yet, none of us can think of any child or parent who died of the gamble that was taken to hold course as was normal! Hey! Some states are still requiring restrictions! 4) Gas prices and inflation! Can someone please explain to me how Biden's executive orders stopping the Keystone pipeline and closing drilling permits on federal property and his push for additional billions and trillions of dollars on his "Build Back, Better!" and other projects promoted was not a big cause of the near 10% inflation we are enduring today? And is it not true that the current increase in interest and withdrawal of QE dollars is threatening our dollar and our stock market today? Does it not make one wonder what tomorrow brings! Jake Wren
