| Man arrested near Cottonwood On September 18, 2022, Idaho County deputies arrested Cameron Rost, age 33, of Medical Lake, Washington, for a Kootenai County warrant, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methadone - a schedule II drug without a prescription, 2 counts of possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of paraphernalia. While in Idaho County custody, Rost disclosed he had ingested methamphetamine and fentanyl and was transported to the hospital. On September 19, 2022, he was found to be in possession of 78 fentanyl pills, which had been concealed internally. Rost was charged with felony destruction of evidence.  CAmeron Rost |
