The District Volleyball Tournament starts Saturday, Oct. 15 for both the Prairie Lady Pirates and the St. John Bosco Lady Patriots.
The Lady Pirates will be the #5 seed and will play #4 seed Logos at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at the LCSC Activity Center.
With a win they wouldn’t play again until Monday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m., likely against Troy. A win on Monday and they would advance to the District Championship on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. The Championship game winner advances to State as the District’s #1 seed. With a loss on Monday they would play again on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. in a loser out game. The Tuesday night winners play Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. The winner of that game plays the loser of the championship game on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. with the winner of that match advancing to State as the District’s #2 seed.
With a loss at 11 a.m. Saturday, they would play again at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 in a loser out game. The winners of the two loser-out games at 3 p.m. will advance to the Tuesday matches and still have a chance for the #2 seed to State.
The Lady Patriots are the #4 seed into District and will play Timberline at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the LCSC Activity Center. If they win that game they would play #1 seeded Kendrick at 5 p.m. Saturday.  That winner advances to a 6 p.m. game Monday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m.
With a loss in their first match Saturday, they would play again at 7 p.m. in a loser out match against the loser of Deary vs. the Nezperce-Highland winner. The winner of that match would play again at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17. That winner plays again at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18. That winner advances to the District Championship game on Thursday, Oct. 20 with both teams advancing to State.
Both the 1A-D1 and 1A-D2 State Tournaments will be at Madison High School in Rexburg, which is northeast of Idaho Falls.
