Shelley and Scot Schlader have announced they have sold the Schlader Photography business and building to Micah and Chad Weber.
Micah Weber is currently a second grade teacher at Prairie Elementary School and will continue in that capacity through the end of the current school year.
She and Shelley Schlader will both work at the business through a transition period before the Webers take it over fully.
The Schladers purchased the business in August of 1996 from Ladd Arnoti who had purchased the business years earlier from Len Kuther.
Schlader says included in the purchase is the archive of photos and negatives dating back to the 1950’s.
Weber said she plans to continue the work done by Schlader and the previous owners of family and individual portraits, graduation photos, school photos, passport photos, etc.
The Webers have 3 children, Marshall, Talon and Maria.
