Sandy "The Chess Guy" is running the 7th Annual Holiday Family Chess Tournament, after a 2 year break, due to COVID, that will take place at the Saint Peter & Paul's Parish Center located in Grangeville at 330 S. B Street on March 24th, 2023 from 9 AM to 6 PM.
There will be many sections competing within an open section allowing for massive prizes including some big cash prizes for the top 3 students. Though this is mainly for beginners and students, adults are also welcome to compete as well.
The tournament will be rated by RatingsNW.com and free chess rating service used throughout the Northwest.
There is a $10 entrance fee with 20% off for those that register online.

Donation jars are located at businesses throughout the Clearwater Valley area.
Freedom Northwest Credit Union has an account named "The Chess Guy" where donations can be given as well.
Local businesses are encouraged to donate cash or prizes in exchange for promotional consideration at the tournament.
