Museum plans Icons of the Prairie art show A fun community museum exhibition in planned for May 1st, featuring art showing the icons of the Camas Prairie. We are looking for artists who will create art highlighting some of those icons: The Monastery, trestle, grain elevators, the Dog, ski hills, Denver Flour Mill, Blue Fox Theatre… We have a couple of old wood chairs that can be painted if that’s your passion. We’d love to show models, carvings, ironwork, paintings, pencil sketches, and small quilted wall hangings. Please no photographs and unfortunately, we don’t have room to exhibit quilts. Items can be dropped off at the museum by Tax Day, April 15th. The exhibit will run May 1st until mid-August so artists can enter their pieces in the Idaho County Fair if they desire. Make a piece of art to show in YOUR museum. |
