Lady Patriots start District play on Friday The St. John Bosco Lady Patriots basketball team will start District Tournament play this Friday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. with a loser out game against Highland at Craigmont. The Patriots were to play Highland on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Win or lose, St. John Bosco would still be the #4 seed and Highland the #5, meaning St. John Bosco will be the home team. The winner of Friday’s game advances to the double elimination portion of the bracket. They would play #1 seeded Kendrick at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6 at Lapwai High School. The winner of Monday’s game would play the Deary-Nezperce winner on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. That winner is the District Champion and goes to State. The loser would play the Deary-Nezperce loser at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 at Lapwai. The winner of that game plays the loser of the championship game for second place and a trip to State. That game would be Friday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. at Lapwai. Shown are the Lady Patriots basketball players.
