Pirates to start District play next Wednesday
The Prairie Pirates start District Tournament play next Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m.
At this time they could finish as either the #5 or #6 seed meaning they would play at either Potlatch or Troy as those teams are vying for the #3 and #4 seeds.
If Prairie beats Logos on Friday they would tie the Knights for 5th place and would likely get the #5 seed due to sweeping the Knights on the season. If they lose they would be the #6 seed.
It looks like Potlatch would be the #3 seed and Troy the #4. Potlatch has a 1 game lead currently, plus a season sweep of the Trojans.
Second round games will all be at Lewiston High School starting at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20. Loser out games are at 1 and 2:30 p.m. while winners bracket games are at 4 and 5:30 p.m.
Two more loser out games are set for Tuesday, Feb. 21. Another loser out game will be played on Wednesday, Feb. 22 followed by the District Championship game.
On Thursday, Feb. 23 will be the 2nd place game with the winner to advance to State.
