Holli Schumacher and Morgan Pack competed at the Lake City Girls Wrestling Tournament this past weekend at Coeur d’Alene.
Schumacher competed in the 120 lb. weight bracket. It was a round-robin bracket among 5 competitors. She won by pin in 1:23 over Kadynce Scott of Lewiston. She won by pin in 3:26 over Emma Garman of Sandpoint. She lost by pin in 1:08 to Grangeville teammate Kadence Beck. She lost by pin in 5:28 to Alexxis Johnson of Lake City. With a 2-2 record on the day, she placed 3^rd.
Pack competed in the 132 lb. weight bracket which was also a round-robin among 5 competitors. She lost by pin in 1:46 to Meg’n Blundell of Clearwater Valley. She won by pin in 4:47 over Haven Mcclure of Lake City. She lost by pin in 47 seconds to Rylie Hancock of Sandpoint. She lost by technical fall, 0-17 to Madi Cook of Lake City. With a 1-3 record, she wound up placing fourth.
They will be competing at the District Tournament this Saturday, Feb. 20 at Potlatch.
