Lady Pirates to open against Greenleaf The Prairie Lady Pirates, 19-5, will open against District 3 runner-up Greenleaf, 17-4, at noon MST, Thursday, Feb. 16, at Columbia High School in Nampa. Prairie is the #2 seed into the tournament as they were the state’s second ranked team in the MaxPreps rankings with a 17.88 rating. Greenleaf was 14th ranked in the final regular season rankings but are 7th ranked among teams making the tournament. Higher ranked teams not making the tournament are #6 Kamiah, #7 Murtaugh, #8 Potlatch, #9 Carey, #10 Genesee, #11 Shoshone and #13 Lighthouse Christian. #8 seed Lakeside was #15 in the rankings. #3 Raft River, 21-3, plays #6 Liberty Charter, 14-6, following Prairie’s game at 2 p.m. #4 Grace, 19-4, plays #5 Oakley, 19-4, at 5 p.m. Lapwai, 23-1, is the #1 seed with a 23.84 rating and plays Lakeside, 13-6, at 7 p.m. MST.
