Art show entries sought
Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA) celebrating 56 years of promoting artists announces its 54th
Annual Spring Show and Sale for April 19 (entries accepted/show
set-up); show is April 20 thru 22. Location of the show is the SUPER 8
Hotel, conference room: 801 S W 1st St/Hwy 95, Grangeville. Entries accepted Wednesday, April 19,
2023, 9:00am to 2:30pm; art pick up is Saturday, April 22, at 4:00pm.
Entry fee is $5.00 per entry for CIAA members and entry fee of $10 for
non-members, limit of seven entries per artist. All media are accepted.
Work must be original work, not previously shown, created within the
past two years. Please, no classwork. Prizes: “Best of Show” $75, first
place in each category is $15, “25% off Custom Framing “Gallery Award”;
non-cash ribbons for “People’s Choice”, “Kid’s Choice”, Honorable
Mention awards. Judge’s critique and artists’ potluck is Wednesday,
April 19, at 5:00pm. Show open to public April 20 (9:00am – 5:00pm),
April 21 (9:00am – 7pm), April 22 (10:00am - 4:00pm). The judge is

March Artisan Madness set for March 18-19 The "March Artisan Madness" art sale is set for Saturday and Sunday, March 18 and 19, with free admission. This event sponsored by the Salmon River Art Guild, will be held at the White Bird Area Recreation District building (former White Bird School), 8am to 3pm (PST). Offered are fine art, artisan crafts, yard art, fabric art, photography, furniture and more. The White Bird Library will have baked goods for sale at the show. The American Legion will have it's sausage feed breakfast on Sunday the 19th.
