Track team competes at two meets
The Prairie Track team took part in two meets last week. On Tuesday, March 21, part of the team competed at a 9 school meet in Kamiah. On Thursday, March 23, the rest of the team competed at the Lewiston Invitational which featured 22 schools ranging in size from 1A to 5A.
At the Kamiah meet Callie Remacle was the only first place finisher for Prairie as she finished first in the high jump with a personal best mark of 4’9”. She also placed 4^th in the 1600 in 6:58.39.
For the boys team the top finishers were Lee Forsmann who placed 2^nd in the discus at 120’9” and Briggs Rambo who placed 2^nd in the 110 hurdles in 22.46.
In other girls results Lacey Schwartz placed 2^nd in the 400 in 1:14.80, 6^th in the 200 in 31.31 and 13^th in the 100 in 15.66.
Breanne Schwartz placed 4^th in the 400 in 1:16.09, 10^th in the 200 in 32.62 and 15^th in the 100 in 15.71.
Avery Riener finished 5^th in the 200 in 31.12 and 10^th in the 100 in 15.41.
Hailey Hanson was 6^th in the discus in 83’2”, 14^th in the shot at 24’10.25” and 9^th in the 200 in 31.43.
Carmen Ove was 6^th in the 400 in 1:30.07, 15^th in the long jump at 5’11”, 16^th in the 200 in 37.19 and 23^rd in the 100 in 16.95.
Harlee Brannan was 9^th in the discus at 78’3”, 12^th in the 200 in 32.81 and 22^nd in the shot at 20’8.5”.
Sarah Lustig was 12^th in the discus at 74’7”, 15^th in the 200 in 34.78 and 16^th in the shot at 24’4.75”.
Meghan Fowler was 15^th in the discus at 66’7.5”, 17^th in the 200 in 37.31 and 25^th in the shot at 18’10.75”.
The 4x200 team of Remacle, Riener, Breanne Schwartz and Lacey Schwartz placed 2^nd in 2:05.05.
As a team the girls placed 4^th with 49 points.
In other boys results Lee Forsmann also placed 3^rd in the 400 in 59.13 and 12^th in the 100 in 12.90.
Rambo also placed 4^th in the 300 hurdles in 51.18 and 19^th in the long jump at 13’11.5”.
Dylan Forsmann placed 3^rd in the 110 hurdles in 24.11, 20^th in the 200 in 30.19 and 23^rd in the 100 in 14.31.
Chase Vonbargen placed 4^th in the 3200 in 11:32.79 and 5^th in the 1600 in 5:39.49.
Caden Armbrust placed 5^th in the 1600 in 6:01.70 and 7^th in the 800 in 2:35.92.
Cole Duclos placed 9^th in the 200 in 27.06 and 13^th in the 100 in 13.09.
Jackson Enneking placed 8^th in the 400 in 1:01.61, 13^th in the 200 in 27.93 and 16^th in the 100 in 13.41.
Zane Uptmor placed 9^th in the 400 in 1:04.12, 11^th in the discus at 86’11” and 15^th in the 100 in 13.11.
Nate Forsmann placed 11^th in the shot at 26’5”, 15^th in the discus at 77’2” and 22^nd in the 200 in 32.34.
Landon Riener placed 11^th in the 800 in 2:57.17 and 13^th in the 1600 in 7:05.39.
Peter Remacle placed 17^th in the discus at 70’2”, 19^th in the shot at 20’9” and 24^th in the 200 at 37.18.
The 4x100 relay team of Enneking, Duclos, Uptmor and Lee Forsmann placed 3^rd in 51.05.
The 4x200 relay team of Armbrust, Duclos, Dylan Forsmann and Rambo placed 3^rd in 1:49.16.
As a team the boys placed 5^th with 57 points.
Kristin Wemhoff was the lone first place finisher with a first in the 400 in a personal best 59.44. She also placed 2^nd in the 200 in 26.61.
The top boys finisher was Shane Hanson who placed 2^nd in the discus at 144’3”. He was also 11^th in the shot put at 38’6.5”.
In other girls results Sage Elven was third in the discus with a personal best of 119’0” and 15^th in the shot put at 28’5.5”.
Julia Rehder was 6^th in the long jump at 14’9.75”.
Tara Schlader was 13^th in this discus at 90’1” and 16^th in the 800 in 2:49.95.
Elizabeth Severns was 16^th in the discus at 86’7”, 25^th in the shot at 23’5.5” and 25^th in the 800 in 3:06.79.
Sierra Oliver was 15^th in the 400 in 1:09.83.
Lexi Schumacher was 16^th in the long jump at 13’2”, 20^th in the 200 in 30.81 and 21^st in the 100 in 14.92.
Aubree Rehder was 22^nd in the 100 in 14.99, 24^th in the 200 in 31.35 and 25^th in the 400 in 1:13.32.
The 4x200 relay team of Alli Geis, Oliver, Schumacher and Julia Rehder was 4^th in the 1:57.20.
The 4x400 team of Geis, Oliver, Elven and Wemhoff placed 8^th in 4:33.95.
The 4x100 team of Geis, Oliver, Julia Rehder and Wemhoff was 12^th in 58.58 and had a disastrous 2^nd handoff that set them back in the pack.
In other boys results Bennie Elven was 4^th in the discus with a mark of 135’2”.
Trenton Lorentz was 4^th in the long jump with a mark of 19’9.5”, 7^th in the 200 in 24.39 and 11^th in the 100 in 12.07.
Noah Geis was 9^th in the 200 in 24.58 and 12^th in the 400 in 55.16.
Lee Forsmann was 10^th in the discus at 119’6”.
Ben Secrest was 14^th in the 400 in 56.21 and 26^th in the 200 in 26.43.
The 4x100 team of Matt Wemhoff, Geis, Hanson and Lorentz was 7^th in 47.30.
The 4x200 team of Lee Forsmann, Secrest, Wemhoff and Elven was 9^th in 1:41.97.
The 4x400 team of Wemhoff, Lee Forsmann, Secrest and Geis was 9^th in 3:55.06.
