Wemhoff wins 4 events, twice
The Prairie track team competed at a pair of track meets last week. On Tuesday, April 11 they were at the Deary Invitational Meet held at Lapwai and on Saturday, April 15, they were at the Nez Perce Games at Kamiah.
Deary Invitational
Kristin Wemhoff won 4 events at the Leah Swanson Memorial/Deary Invitational track meet at Lapwai Tuesday, April 11 to lead the Prairie girls to a second place team finish.
She won the 100 in 12.8, the 200 in 27.5, the 400 in 1:01.7 and anchored the 4x100 relay team of Alli Geis, Avery Riener and Julia Rehder to a win in 53.4. Kristin Wemhoff and Julia Rehder get out of the blocks at the start of the 100 meter dash at Lapwai last Tuesday. They finished 1st and 3rd respectively.
Shane Hanson, Trenton Lorentz and Noah Geis each won an event to lead the boys team to a first place finish.
Hanson won the discus with a toss of 149’5” and was also third in the high jump at 5’6” and 8th in the shot put at 36’7”.
Lorentz won the 400 in 53.5, a personal best and was 3rd in the long jump at 18’8”.
Geis won the 100 meter dash in 11.8 and was 4th in the 400 in 54.7.
Callie Remacle and Sydney Shears tied for first place in the high jump as each cleared 4’6”. Remacle was also 7th in the 100 hurdles in 19.7, 10th in the 1600 in 7:13.9 and 15th in the 800 in 3:13.1. Shears was also 4th in the 800 in 2:35.0.
Other girls events:
Sage Elven was 2nd in the discus at 111’2½” and 8th in the shot put at 29’8”.
Hailey Hanson was third in the discus at 96’2½” and 10th in the shot at 26’10”.
Julia Rehder was 3rd in the 100 in 13.7; and 6th in the long jump at 13’4½”.
Sierra Oliver was 3rd in the pole vault at 6’0”.
Elizabeth Severns was 4th in the discus at 92’8½”, 9th in the shot put at 28’0”, 9th in the 1600 at 7:02.8 and 13th in the 800 at 3:10.5.
Tara Schlader was 6th in the discus at 90’0”, 9th in the triple jump at 27’10” and 10th in the 800 at 2:55.1.
Alli Geis was 8th in the 400 in 1:09.6.
Sarah Lustig was 9th in the discus at 84’8” and 17th in the shot put at 23’4”.
Avery Riener was 10th in the triple jump at 27’7” and 13th in the 100 hurdles in 21.4.
Lacey Schwartz was 10th in the 400 in 1:13.2.
Harlee Brannan was 10th in the discus at 80’6” and 22nd in the shot put at 21’0”.
Lexi Schumacher was 10th in the long jump at 12’10½”.
Breanne Schwartz was 11th in the 200 in 33.2.
Aubree Rehder was 13th in the long jump at 10’10½”.
Carmen Ove was 21st in the 100 in 16.7, 21st in the 200 in 38.5 and 21st in the long jump at 7’3”.
Meghan Fowler was 22nd in the discus at 62’5½” and 26th in the shot put at 19’8”.
The 4x200 relay team of Geis, Oliver, Schumacher and Julia Rehder was 1st in 1:56.0. The 4x200 team of Aubree Rehder, Schlader, Breanne Schwartz and Lacey Schwartz was 4th in 2:02.4.
The 4x400 team of Geis, Lacey Schwartz, Schumacher and Oliver was 3rd in 4:37.8.
The medley team of Aubree Rehder, Lacey Schwartz, Schumacher and Riener was 3rd in 2:07.4
The 4x100 team of Oliver, Aubree Rehder, Breanne Schwartz and Elven was 4th in 57.1.

Matt Wemhoff was 2nd in the pole vault at 8’6”.
Bennie Elven was 3rd in the discus at 126’5”, 9th in the 100 in 12.4 and 13th in the shot put at 32’8”.
Briggs Rambo was 3rd in the 110 hurdles in 21.1, 4th in the 300 hurdles in 51.2, 9th in the pole vault at 6’6” and 23rd in the long jump at 14’0”.
Chase Vonbargen was 3rd in the 1600 in 5:05.3 and 13th in the 800 in 2:26.2.
Lee Forsmann was 5th in the discus at 120’½” and 12th in the 200 in 26.9.
Cole Duclos was 5th in the pole vault at 7’6” and 11th in the 800 in 2:26.2.
Dylan Forsmann was 5th in the 110 hurdles in 23.0 and 8th in the 300 hurdles in 59.4.
Ben Secrest was 8th in the 400 in 56.7 and 11th in the long jump at 15’8½”.
Zane Uptmor was 8th in the triple jump at 30’10” and 9th in the discus at 99’8”.
Nate Forsmann was 16th in the shot put at 28’7” and 19th in the discus at 83’4½”.
Landon Riener was 22nd in the 800 in 2:56.8 and 25th in the 1600 in 6:31.7.
Peter Remacle was 26th in the 200 in 36.9, 30th in the discus at 65’9” and 33rd in the shot put at 21’9”.
The 4x100 relay team of Wemhoff, Geis, Secrest and Lorentz placed 1st in 46.1.
The 4x400 team of Wemhoff, Elven, Secrest and Geis places 2nd in 3:48.5.
The medley team of Jackson Enneking, Duclos, Uptmor and Caden Armbrust placed 2nd in 4:24.8.
The 4x200 team of Duclos, Lee Forsmann, Wemhoff and Uptmor was 5th in 1:43.7 while the team of Armbrust, Enneking, Dylan Forsmann and Nate Forsmann was 9th in 1:53.4.
Nez Perce Games
At the Nez Perce Games in Kamiah Kristin Wemhoff again won 4 events, this time to lead the girls team to a first place tie with McCall-Donnelley.
Sage Elven set a new personal best  in winning the discus at Kamiah on Saturday.She won the 100 in 12.92, a personal best, the 200 in 27.07, the 400 in 1:01.35 and anchored the 4x100 relay team with Geis, Riener and Julia Rehder to first place in 52.98.
Also winning for the girls team was Shears in the 800 in 2:38.55. She was also 2nd in the 1600 in 6:05.18 and third in the high jump at 4’8”.
Elven also won the discus with a personal best of 121’5½” and was 5th in the shot put at 30’6”, 9th in the 400 in 1:12.14 and 19th in the 200 in 32.14.
The only member of the boys team to win an event was Hanson in the discus with a mark of 144’3”. He also placed 3rd in the shot put at 39’9”, 6th in the high jump at 5’6” and 16th in the 100 in 12.73.
Other girls results:
Julia Rehder was third in the long jump at 14’3” and 5th in the 100 in 13.85.
Oliver was 3rd in the pole vault at 7’0”.
Severns was 3rd in the discus at 104’10”, a personal best, and 6th in the shot put at 29’7”, also a personal best. She was 5th in the 1600 in 7:06.19 and 6th in the 800 in 3:09.90.
Remacle was 4th in the 1600 in 6:54.0, 4th in the high jump at 4’4”, 12th in the long jump at 12’1” and 18th in the 100 hurdles in 24.80.
Hanson was 5th in the discus at 98’1” and 19th in the shot at 25’0”.
Geis was 5th in the 400 in 1:07.91.
Schlader was 6th in the discus at 96’5” and 11th in the 300 hurdles in 58.90.
Riener was 6th in the long jump at 13’5½” and 7th in the triple jump at 28’6”, both personal bests.
Lacey Schwartz was 6th in the 400 in 1:09.90 and 18th in the 100 in 14.93.
Breanne Schwartz was 8th in the 400 in 1:10.99 and 17th in the 100 in 14.93.
Lustig was 9th in the discus at 88’3” and 25th in the shot put at 23’4”.
Schumacher was 10th in the long jump at 12’8”.
Aubree Rehder was 13th in the 00 in 1:17.25.
Brannan was 11th in the discus at 84’8” and 24th in the shot at 23’5”, both personal bests.
Ove was 16th in the 400 in 1:24.07, 23rd in the long jump at 6’9½”, 24th in the 200 in 34.21 and 27th in the 100 in 16.97.
Fowler was 23rd in the discus at 65’6” and 33rd in the shot at 20’4½”.
The 4x200 relay team of Geis, Oliver, Aubree Rehder and Julia Rehder was 2nd in 1:54.61 while the team of Breanne Schwartz, Lacey Schwartz, Schumacher and Schlader was 3rd in 1:59.92.
The 4x400 team of Geis, Oliver, Schumacher and Riener was 2nd in 4:38.26.
The medley team of Aubree Rehder, Oliver, Schumacher and Lacey Schwartz was 2nd in 2:07.22.
The 4x100 “throwers” relay team of Brannan, Fowler, Hanson and Lustig was 7th in 1:00.69.
As a team the girls tied for 1st with 163½ pts.

Elven was 2nd in the discus at 140’5”, 8th in the shot at 34’4” and 14th in the 100 in 12.46, all personal bests.
Lorentz was 3rd in the 100 in 11.44, 3rd in the long jump at 18’5” and 4th in the 400 in 55.19.
Geis was 3rd in the 400 in 54.02, a personal best, and 7th in the 100 in 11.65.
Lee Forsmann was 4th in the discus at 126’9” and 15th in the 200 in 26.82, both personal bests.
Rambo was 4th in the 300 hurdles in 48.71 5th in the 110 hurdles in 20.39 and 7th in the pole vault at 7’6”, all personal bests.
Secrest was 6th in the 400 in 55.97 and 13th in the 100 in 12.42, both personal bests.
Dylan Forsmann was 6th in the 300 hurdles in 56.81, 8th in the 110 hurdles in 22.47 and 26th in the 200 in 29.77.
Armbrust was 6th in the 800 in 2:35.04, 9th in the 3200 in 13:04.38 in his first time running the event, and 12th in the 1600 in 5:59.05.
Wemhoff was 8th in the pole vault at 8’0”.
Duclos was 9th in the pole vault at 8’0” and 22nd in the 100 in 13.25.
Uptmor was 10th in the triple jump at 32’1” and 11th in the discus at 106’0”, both personal bests.
Nate Forsmann was 12th in the shot put at 27’4”, 17th in the discus at 90’9” and 30th in the 200 at 31.93.
Remacle was 17th in the shot put at 20’10”, 26th in the discus at 59’11”, 34th in the 200 in 36.82 and 39th in the 100 in 17.49.
Enneking was 23rd in the long jump at 13’5¼”, 24th in the 200 in 28.68 and 29th in the 100 in 13.60.
The 4x100 team of Wemhoff, Geis, Secrest and Lorentz placed 2nd in 45.91.
The 4x200 team of Wemhoff, Lee Forsmann, Duclos and Uptmor placed 2nd in 1:42.29.
The 4x400 team of Secrest, Wemhoff, Elven and Geis placed 2nd in 3:44.45.
The medley team of Enneking, Uptmor, Lee Forsmann and Duclos, placed 3rd in 4:14.29.
As a team the boys placed 4th with 106 points.
