Cottonwood Police will be participating in the DEA National Drug Take Back Day !
This will be on April 22, 2023 between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM.
The location will be in front of Cottonwood City Hall.  Look for the Community Response Vehicle, which will be parked there.  It will be very easy to find as it's a re-purposed ambulance with Cottonwood PD markings and 'Community Response Vehicle' on the side of it.
We can accept either over the counter or prescription medications.  However, we CANNOT accept auto injectors or anything with needles.
We CANNOT accept the actual prescription bottles.  We don't want anyone's personal information getting out.  We ask that you either dump all of the medications that you want to get rid of into a bag, then drop off that bag, or simply dump your pills into the collection bag.
We thank you for your participation in this event, and hope it helps our community to safely dispose of unwanted medications.
