The
Prairie Pirate Knowledge Bowl Seniors were recognized at the final
meet at Grangeville a week ago. Back from left are Mary Schwartz,

4th
Grade Basketball ended a few weeks ago. Fundamentals and
Sportsmanship were a Driving point this season. Fun group to
coach, their dedication to listen and learn lead them to success on the
court. This team played 23 games this season, end up with a
record of 21 wins and 2 losses. They beat (13) 4th grade teams, (8) 5th grade teams, their only losses came to a 5th grade team and 6th
grade team. Their Tournaments went very good as well winning the
Palouse tournament and also the Kendrick 7 Ridges tournament.

Prairie High
School’s welding class has been building benches to be installed at the
Cottonwood City Park using materials donated by Advanced Welding &
Steel. The benches will have nameplates on them honoring the major

the pizzas they are selling to raise funds for their trip to HOSA
nationals, Chloe Rowland and Holli Schumacher are also selling Krispy

Lifeguard Training Classes will be offered at the Asotin County Family
Aquatic Center. One runs from May 7-11 and the other runs from May
