On Friday, both of our math teams went to the University of Idaho and gave it their best and competed well on a test of 8 difficult problems for which they were given 90 minutes to solve. The overall top team was from Pullman. There were 14 schools there including Moscow, Coeur d’Alene, Lewiston and some from southern Idaho too. Our team of juniors and seniors won the award for “Best Small Rural School”. This award includes a trophy and $400 to split among the team members. This team was made of Riley Enneking, Morgan Poxleitner, Colton McElroy, Zane Uptmor, and alternate Isabella Walsh. Our team of sophomores and freshmen was made of Briggs Rambo, Carter Shears, Ellie Nuxoll, Max Rehder, and alternate Collin Ray. I know they all worked very hard and we are so proud of all of them.  They are such a good representation of the hard work our town upholds and teaches to our children. I’m so glad I get to be part of our community! Photos by Matt Elven. Click on each photo for a larger view.
