On May 3, 2023, around 02:45 AM, Idaho County received a call about a disorderly male in the White Bird, Idaho area.
Deputies responded and Evan Eckman, age 30, of White Bird, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor disturbing the peace.
Over the past weekend, Idaho County deputies were on patrol in the Riggins area for the annual Riggins Rodeo. Three separate felony arrests were made.

On May 5, 2023, at approximately 5:50 PM, the Idaho State Police made a traffic stop on Highway 95 near milepost 202, just north of Riggins.
During the traffic stop, K9 Millie was deployed and alerted on the vehicle.
Elizabeth Hardt, age 57, of Grangeville, Idaho was arrested for a felony warrant out of NezPerce County and felony possession of methamphetamine.

On May 5, 2023, at approximately 8:10 PM, Idaho County deputies made a traffic stop on the Big Salmon Road outside of Riggins for a routine violation. K9 Millie was deployed and alerted on the vehicle.
Nicolas Morales, age 23, of Boise, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of fentanyl.

Charles Hurt, age 36, of Caldwell, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of cocaine.
