PATRONS OF DISTRICT #242 The levy election for the 2022-23 school year will be held on Tuesday, May 16th, we ask for your support in the continuation of our academic and extracurricular programs. Cottonwood School District prides itself on their professional staff, strong students, and great community support when it comes to promoting academic success in this district. Investing in our youth is the answer to the continued success of our community. Our local schools are the foundation of our community. This year’s levy amount of $200,000 decreased by $50,000 from last year. The 2022-23 taxable amount per $100,000 equals $115.81. 2023-24 levy taxable amount per $100,000 equaled $79.20. This is a significant reduction from a year ago. We are prudent in our spending and promise to continue providing a quality education for the children of our communities. Please show your support on Tuesday, May 16th by voting. The polls are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Your polling location is determined by where you vote in the general election with locations in Ferdinand, Greencreek, Cottonwood, Fenn and Keuterville.
