Greencreek 4th of July Celebration set for Tuesday
The annual Greencreek 4th of July Celebration gets underway at 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 4, with a flag raising followed by a Mass at St. Anthony’s Church at 7 a.m.
Jack Collins is the Grand Marshal for this year’s event.
The famous breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will cost $10 for those 12 and older, $8 for 6-11 year olds with those under 6 eating free.
In the lawn west of the Greencreek Hall there will be Kiddie Rides all day including the two merry go rounds, a bouncy castle and the barrel train.
Bingo will be played inside the Hall all day.
Street Sports will start at noon in the lawn west of the Hall followed by the auction and prize drawing which should get started around 1 p.m.
The Altar Society will be selling hamburgers and homemade pies starting at noon in the kitchen inside the hall.
There will be concessions and a beergarden outside as well.
