A thunderstorm hit Cottonwood about 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 and dumped over 2.5 inches in about an hour, flooding many places in town. Some of the worst hit was at Joe Schaeffer and Bonnie Gehring’s homes at Bash and King Streets. The top photo shows the area west of Joe Schaeffer’s fence. The middle photos shows Bash Street in between the two house and the lower photo shows water running past Gehring’s house and forming a large pond in her yard. For more photos see link above left.
