4 vie for Fair Royalty
There are 4 candidates this year for the 2024 Idaho County Fair Royalty.
They are Bailey Key of Cottonwood, Chayla Christopher of Keuterville, Lydia Stowell of Grangeville and Kinzley Adams of Grangeville.
They will be judged at the Royalty Luncheon on Wednesday, August 2 and the crowning will be held on Friday, August  17 at the Idaho County Fair.

Bailey Key

Bailey Key is the 15 year old daughter of Bill and Tabitha Key of Cottonwood. She will be a sophomore at Prairie High School in the fall.
She has been involved in AAU Basketball, volleyball, softball, Prairie League, 4-H Fashion Board, wrestling, assistant coach for machine league, helped run Cottonwood Summerfest booths, worked concessions and is a member of Keuterville Livestock 4-H Club.
Her past fair involvement includes Cake Decorating projects, Making the Most of Me and Market Lamb.
She earns money working at Coyote’s One Stop and babysitting.
She enjoys camping, fishing, being outdoors, dancing, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
After high school she plans to attend college at Lewis Clark State College to pursue a career in nursing.
Her three life goals are to become a leader, go to school to become a nurse and to travel the world.
She feels her strongest personal quality if here determination. When she is devoted and working towards a goal she gives it all her attention and determined to achieve that goal no matter how hard it may get.
The most important thing in her life is here family because they are always there for her no matter what. They are also her biggest supporters and guide her through everything.
She has 3 sisters, Mackenzie and Taeler are older and Charlee is younger. Her parents are Bill and Tabitha Key.
She has lived in Idaho County her whole life.

Chayla Christopher

Chayla Christopher is the 16 year old daughter of Brandy Ross of Keuterville. She will be a senior at Prairie High School in the fall.
Youth organizations and activities she has been involved with are ICYC, Steubenville, car wash fundraiser, Thanksgiving baskets, 4-H and Idaho Youth Groups and volleyball.
Her past fair involvement includes 2 years in her youth group.
She makes money working at Keuterville Pub & Grub.
She enjoys mudding, outdoor stuff and hanging out with family and friends.
After high school she plans to go to college and become a social worker.
Three of her life goals are to become a social worker, be a good mom and buy a house.
She feels her strongest personal quality is seeing when someone is struggling and working to fix it.
Her most important thing in life is her family because of their support.
She lives with her aunt and uncle and they are a very loud and outgoing family that loves being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
She has lived in Idaho County her whole life.

Lydia Marie Stowell

Lydia Marie Stowell if the 16 year old daughter of Dori Stowell of Grangeville. She is a homeschooled sophomore this coming year.
Her youth organizations and activities include soccer, choir, 4-H, Irish Dance, 4-H Fashion Board, youth group, Vacation Bible School, baseball, volleyball, pickle ball, Christmas Choir and band.
Her past fair involvement includes 4-H Fashion Board, sewing, Making the most of Me, pig, lamb and chicken projects and lego robotics.
She earns money working at Cash & Carry, babysitting, cleaning job, mowing and dog sitting.
Her hobbies include sewing, crocheting, soccer and music.
After high school she plans on going to fashion school.
Her three life goals are to go to fashion school, create her own patterns and see and be in a real fashion show in New York or Paris.
She feels her strongest personal quality is that she is a hard worker because when something comes hard to her, she works hard to do her best.
The most important thing in her life is her family because they always have her back in anything she does. They also attend and help with all her activities and events.
She has 4 siblings, 3 of them are out of the house. But they are always there for her games and big events. Her younger sister is like a best friend and her parents are always rooting for her.
She has lived in Idaho County for 12 years.

Kinzley Adams

Kinzley Adams is the 16 year old daughter of Jeff and Trisha Adams of Grangeville. She will be a junior this fall at Grangeville High School.
She has participated in 4-H and Grangeville High School girls basketball and softball.
Her past fair involvement includes 8 years of hog/gilt projects.
She makes money babysitting and cleaning for businesses.
She enjoys fishing, softball, fair, friends and family.
After high school she plans to invest in real estate, as in flipping houses, or becoming a dental hygienist.
Three life goals include becoming a collegiate player in her favorite sport of softball at catcher; become the Idaho County Fair overall grand champion hog showman after having been reserve intermediate champion in 2021 and grand champion senior showman in 2022. Her new goal in life would come with the help of the Idaho County Fair Royalty as she would love to know that she can work hard at something she wants, such as Fair Queen, and have the confidence in herself that she can accomplish this goal which could lead her to taking on many more goals.
She feels her strongest personal quality is that she is an extrovert. People always tell her she acts so mature and has so much confidence when talking. She would love to use this quality in other places such as Fair Queen and show other girls how amazing royalty is so they have try out as well.
She has several things she feels are important in her life such as friends and family but feels the most important is her empathy for others.
Her father is Jeff Adams, who is the Grangeville High School head football coach and also the boss at Elk Mountain Logging. Her mother Trisha is so beautiful and spoils her in every way possible. She has 3 sisters. Her oldest sister is Lexi who has been one of her biggest role models. She is married and has a daughter named Kamas. Her second oldest sister is Lanie. She has a daughter named Stevie Lee, who will be six in October. Her younger sister is Bridgelee, who is one of the smartest people you will ever meet and she is only 10.
