Ethos Fitness opened in former Royale Room/Cafe location
Last week we had an article on the new businesses in the remodeled Royal Building. This week we have further information on the business located at street level.
Blake Black and Mikayla Riener own the Ethos Gym which opened a few months ago in Cottonwood.
Blake grew up in the area west of Boise back when it was farmland and dairies. When the population started exploding he felt it was time to look for somewhere else to live. He moved to southeast Idaho east of Idaho Falls for awhile but felt even that was too big and moved to the Camas Prairie.
Once here he met Mikayla, who grew up in Cottonwood, and they just clicked. Both were into the fitness lifestyle and started a small gym then met Ryan and Heather Uhlenkott and looked at taking over the main floor of the Royal Building.
They asked for the large roll-up glass doors as he had been in gyms where you can’t see outside and didn’t like it. Plus the large roll-up doors made moving the exercise equipment inside much easier. There is also always the opportunity to open the doors on a nice day and let some fresh air into the gym.
Their general 24/7 gym membership is $58.30 per month. They don’t charge sign-on fees or lock people into contracts. It’s just a month by month “contract.”
They have 3 certified personal trainers that offer programming and personal training. Cost varies depending on what the personal goals are for the individual.
They also offer group fitness classes that are professionally programmed and coached on a progressive strength program that teaches you how to lift correctly to avoid injury and to attain the personal fitness goals of each individual.
They have an inviting fitness community with a dynamic atmosphere that is inviting and surrounded by people that feel like family all reaching their fitness goals together alongside one another.
Come be apart of the fitness family, Blake and Mikayla would love to meet you! “We pride ourselves in cleanliness, top of the line equipment, and proper form and body mechanics to build your strongest body inside and out mentally and physically!” said Riener.
