To the Library and Beyond
September 24 is National Punctuation Day.  Those of us old enough to remember Victor Borge may enjoy this day more than others.  Perhaps we can all remember high school teachers who insisted on correct punctuation.
The last week of September is Banned Books Week; let’s celebrate by writing something noble and inspiring.
On a lighter note, September 25 is National Comic Book Day; if you enjoy your graphic novels, this is your day to party.
September 27 is Library Book Club Day; if you want to start or join a book club, come to the Library any Tuesday and talk to Colleen or Carissa.
Prairie Community Library has an incomplete collection of high school yearbooks and we would like to fill the gaps.  If you have old yearbooks that no longer interest you, we would be happy to take the following: Anything before 1954; 1955-1960; 1963 through 1973; 1978 through 1980; 1983 through 1987; 1991 through 1995; 1999 through 2016, and 2018 through 2022.  These yearbooks make a wonderful addition to our local history section.  Thank you!
