St. John Bosco Academy’s 26th Annual Mystery Night was held Saturday, November 4th.  A crowd of 400 enjoyed food and drinks in the Land of Oz.  The elimination raffle was conducted by the Wizard of Oz with help from Glinda the Good, Dorothy, and a flying monkey.  In the end, Neil and Stephanie Goeckner were declared the winners of $10,000 in gift certificates.  Their winnings can be used at any of our sponsors: Gem Builders Supply, American Freedom Defense, Sonnen Meats, Cloninger’s Marketplace - Cottonwood, Bud's Power Sports, Intermountain Feed & Mercantile, Lindsley's Furniture and Appliance and Les Schwab Tire Center - Grangeville.  We are grateful to all who attended and bid to support Catholic education. We found this in the September 7, 1975 edition of the Chronicle but it dates back a lot farther than that. We are guessing about 1910 as the newspaper in the top line shows Camas Prairie Chronicle. It changed to the Cottonwood Chronicle during the 1910's. Click on the photo for a larger view.
