Bond passes easily
The City of Cottonwood bond election passed overwhelmingly with 124 yes votes and only 11 no votes for a 91.85% yes vote.
This allows the city access to $23 million in grants offered by the Idaho Division of Environmental Quality.
Also, according to city clerk Lynn Thompson, the show of support by citizens also may help in obtaining additional grant funds from other sources.
