Donn Clark shared the above photos of a large boulder that rolled down the hill into the road in Lawyer’s Canyon last week. As you can tell from the metal trestle in the background this is on old Highway 95. He took the first photo of just the boulder then parked his rig next to it to give some sense of the size of the boulder.  Click on each photo for a larger view.

The walls on the restroom portion of the new park pavilion are starting to go up. as workers take advantage of the clear weather so far this week. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Since the last time we took photos some more of the new playground equipment has been assembled at the Cottonwood City Park with some of the larger pieces yet to go. One of the largest pieces may get hired out for assembling due to the complexity. Click on each photo for a larger view.

The Tri-Parish high school youth put on a Thanksgiving Feast for our junior high students, and it was a huge success more than 55 students from junior high to high school participated in our annual Thanksgiving Feast. I’d like to thank everyone who helped out and volunteered their time and tasty food the students enjoyed their feast and their video presentation from members in the community about why they’re thankful for our youth. A special thank you goes out to Deacon Eric for his participation in prayers during the evening and to my adult volunteer helpers, Cara Duman, Emily Ratcliff, Chris Remacle, Aleana Lockart, and Katharine Duuck. And to our high school emcees, Sarah Lustig, and Isabella Walsh May God Bless everyone on this upcoming Thanksgiving. In the middle photo the students are filling their plates with food while in the bottom photo they played games after the feast. Photos provided by Sarah Walsh. Click on each photo for a larger view.
