The annual Idaho County Shootout takes place this Friday, Dec. 1, at Grangeville as the Prairie girls and boys varsity basketball teams take on the Grangeville Bulldogs.
The girls game starts at 6 p.m. followed by the boys game at about 7:30 p.m.
The JV teams played each other on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Cottonwood with Prairie winning both games.
The event also serves as a fundraiser for the area food banks as the two schools compete to collect canned goods, non-perishable food items and monetary donations to the food banks.
