Cottonwood teams at Hallissey Tournament

Cottonwood was well represented at last weekend's 61st annual Hallissey Catholic 7-8 grade Basketball Tournament in Boise.  Four teams, representing the Tri-Parish and St. John Bosco Academy competed, and they brought home two trophies!  The Tri-parish girls won first place in the girls' division after beating the St. Mark's of Boise's 7th grade team 30 to 21.  The St. John Bosco Academy boys won the sportsmanship award for displaying the best sportsmanship in the boys' division throughout the tournament.  All four teams played hard and had some wins throughout the weekend.  The teams celebrated together with a pizza party on Saturday night following the tournament Mass.
