High School awards
Prairie High School held their year end awards assembly on Friday, May 24. Below are the recipients shown in the order they were presented:

The Prairie Booster club gave certificates to all students who earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average this year. Shown, not in order, are Sarah Lustig, Ember Martin, Taylor Riener, Zane Uptmor, Harlee Brannan, Cole Duclos, Monica Goeckner, Kaylie Lockett, Jake Quintal, Briggs Rambo, Rebecca Seubert, Carter Shears, Sage Elven, Levi Gehring, Hailey Hanson, Alaina Lustig, Naomi Mills, Max Rehder, Avery Riener, Katelyn Riener, Philip Schwartz, Sydney Shears, Ryan Stewart, Nadia Cash, Aubree Geis, Avery Kehler, Henry Lustig, Lillianne Lustig, Josiphine Mader, Maggie Nuxoll, Kade Quintal, Halee Rowland, Erica Schlader and Olivia Uhlenkott.

Miranda Klapprich was awarded the St. Mary's Health Employee scholarship by Kim Johnson of St. Mary's Health.


Sarah Lustig and Zane Uptmor received the Idaho & Lewis County Cattle Association scholarships.

Miranda Klapprich recived the Idaho School Boards Association Scholarship.

Zane Uptmor received the Idaho County Farm Bureau Scholarship.


Sarah Lustig received the Work Ethic Scholarship.

Zane Uptmor and Alli Geis received Cottonwood Community Credit Union Scholarships.


Miranda Klapprich received the Burt Lute Memorial Scholarship.

Taylor Riener received the John Kernan Memorial Scholarship.

Ember Martin, Alli Geis and Dylan Forsmann received the Kantola-Morgan scholarships.

Tyalor Riener and Zane Uptmor received the Travis Uhlenkott Memorial Scholarships.

Ember Martin received the Logan Lustig Memorial Scholarship.

Zane Uptmor received the Carl Gibbs Memorial Scholarship.

Isabella Walsh was awarded "The Prize" which is voted on by the student body.

Sarah Lustig and Lee Forsmann received the Citizenship Awards which include the Cottonwood Lions Club Scholarships.


Top math and chemistry awards went to Briggs Rambo, top precalculus; Dylan Uhlenkott, top technical math; Sarah Lustig, top calculus and top chemistry and Sydney Shears, top algebra 2.

Sewing awards went to Jazmin Ove, perseverance quilter; Cierra Christopher, Needle & Thread new generation; Wyatt Latimer, perseverance quilter; Devon Poxleitner, Needle & Thread and most improved; Henry Lustig, Golden Needle & Thread-top quilter; Kyra Robertson, Needle & Thread; Monica Goeckner, Perseverence Quilter and Naomi Mills, Perseverence Quilter. Not pictured are Lukas Bennett, needle & Thread and Monica Goeckner, Teacher’s Award.

Receiving Band awards from left are Gabe Decaria, outstanding underclassman; Alaina Lustig, John Philip Sousa Award; and Jazmin Over, Director’s Award.

Science Awards went to from left: Elizabeth Severns, top Natural Science; Taylor Riener, Ember Martin and Dylan Forsmann, top advanced biolody; Olivia Uhlenkott, top natural science and Alaina Lustig, Sydney Shears and Levi Gehring, top biology.

Alli Geis and Noah Behler were named Athletes of the Year.
