Lady Patriots win 2 of 3, boys lose twice; 10 turn out for boys basketball
The St. John Bosco Lady Patriots won 2 of 3 games last week. On Tuesday, Dec. 3 they routed Timberline 47-12 at Cottonwood. On Wednesday, Dec. 4, they edged the Clarkston JV 48-47. Finally on Thursday, Dec. 5, they lost at Nezperce 29-32. . . .
The St. John Bosco Patriots opened their season with a 42-60 loss to Timberline at Cottonwood on Tuesday, Dec. 3. On Thursday, Dec. 5 they traveled to Nezperce and lost 51-64. . . .

Prairie students celebrate on the court after receiving the Idaho County Shootout trophy as Prairie won the competition between them and Grangeville. The two schools combined to collect a record $27,585 in food and monetary donations to the local food banks. This was over $3,000 more than last year. This was the 15th year of the Idaho County Shootout and is the third straight year Prairie has won the school competition. Click on the photo for a larger view.
