Pirates win 1 of 3 games The Prairie Pirates won just 1 of 3 games
to finish the 2024 portion of their schedule. On Tuesday, Dec. 17, they
traveled to Grangeville and avenged an earlier loss 62-31. On Thursday,
Dec. 19 they hosted Kamiah and lost 49-64. Finally on Saturday, Dec.
21, they traveled to Moscow where they lost to Logos 61-66.

Lady Pirates win twice The Prairie Lady Pirates won a pair of
league games to close out the 2024 portion of their schedule. On
Tuesday, Dec. 17 they won at Kamiah 54-30 and on Friday, Dec. 20, they
beat Logos 91-12 at Cottonwood.

| Patriot teams win 1 of 4 games The St. John Bosco basketball teams won
just 1 of 4 games last week. They hosted Highland on Tuesday, Dec. 17
where the girls lost 24-26 and the boys picked up their first win of
the season, 50-38. On Thursday, Dec. 19, they traveled to Genesee where
the girls lost 61-68 and the boys lost 36-54.

The
Pro-Life Patriots at St. John Bosco Academy, part of the nationwide
Students for Life group, held their annual candle light Mass on the
Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. As patroness of the unborn, this
feast day has special meaning for the group and those attending their
Mass. Members received candle sponsorships for $5 each to provide
the lighting for the Mass. A total of $1305 was raised which the
students will use to purchase Christmas gifts for foster children as
well as donate to the Hope Pregnancy Center located in Grangeville
Idaho. Club Members are pictured following the Mass: Nathan Wassmuth,
Brianne Nuxoll, Cecilia Remacle, Advisor Amy Gorges, Madeline Wassmuth,
Noelle Chmelik, Catherine Beckman, Julia Wassmuth, Miah Mager, Tommy

John Bosco Academy presented "The Miracle of the Roses" for their
Nativity play on December 18th, which portrayed the story of Our Lady
of Guadalupe. Students in all grades participated in the

to Marshall Weber who was selected to represent Prairie Jr High in the
21st Annual 6-8th Football All State Game which showcases the best 6th,
7th and 8th grade football players in a Treasure Valley vs. rest of the
