Runners compete at Seaport Invite The Prairie cross country team competed at the annual Seaport Invite at Beachview Park in Clarkston Wednesday, Sept. 9. Prairie’s top finisher in the girls high school race was Madalynn VonBargen, who placed 23rd in 27:17.26. Evelyn Gehring placed 26th in 28:09.98. Ella McLeod was 39th in 20:33.18. Zita Schmidt was 42nd in 30:49.37. Lillianne Lustig was 48th in 32:39.49. Gloria Terhaar was 51st in 33:04.78 and Bella Musick was 57th in 36:07.90. The top finisher for the boys high school team was Matthew Jones, who was 23rd in 20:34.30. Younger brother Koyle Jones was right behind in 24th in 20:34.49. Phineas Fitch was 51st in 22:34.91. Kade Hansen was 74th in 24:18.91. Aiden DeLorenze was 102nd in 27:50.95 and Gabe DeCaria was 103rd in 28:13.81. As a team the girls placed 6th with 131 points while the boys team placed 8th with 185 points. Darby Fitch was the only Prairie junior high girl running. She placed 92nd in 16:52.52. There were no results available for the junior high boys. Members of the team are Cameron McLeod, David Quintal, Dawson Stewart, Eli Duman, Isaac Riener, James Lustig, Landon Jones, Moses Musick and Sawyer Stewart, who all competed at Clarkston.
