Pirates win twice The Prairie Pirates extended their winning
streak to 3 games with home wins over Orofino and Genesee last week. On

league win over Genesee at Cottonwood.

Lady Pirates win 3 road games The Prairie Lady Pirates won 3 road games
this past week. On Tuesday, Jan. 2, they traveled to Deary and won
50-37. On Saturday, Jan. 6 they traveled to Genesee and won 70-44.

Patriot boys win 1 of 3, girls win 1 of 2 St. John Bosco apparently picked up a couple of extra games at Coeur
d’Alene Friday, Dec. 29 with the girls beat a Catholic school from
Coeur d’Alene by a score of 43-7 while the boys lost a pair of games,
no scores available.
On Saturday, Jan. 6 St. John Bosco hosted Salmon River at Highland
in Craigmont. The boys picked up their first win since their season
opener, 69-49, while the girls team lost by 1 point, no score
available.

basketball has returned from Christmas break. Lexi Schumacher is shown
scoring a lay-up at Deary. She has scored 24, 35 and 39 points in her 3
games so far in January. The 39 points against Orofino is only 1 off
the school record of 40 in a game set by Cindy Schultz in the
