Pirates win 1 of 3
The Prairie Pirates baseball team ended their regular season by winning 1 of 3 games plus picking up a forfeit.
On Tuesday, April 30, they hosted Clearwater Valley and won 5-4. On Wednesday, May 1 they played a doubleheader against Potlatch at Lewiston and lost 0-9 and 2-12. Finally on Friday, they were to play Lapwai but the Wildcats were short of players and forfeited the game. . . .
They wound up losing their first round District game at C.V. 5-7, which ends their season. Details next week.

Lady Pirates win 2 of 3
The Prairie Lady Pirates ended their regular season by winning 2 of 3 games. On Tuesday, April 30, they traveled to Orofino and beat the Orofino JV 12-7. On Friday, May 3, they celebrated senior night and split a doubleheader with Grangeville. They won the first game 12-9 and lost the second game 9-13. . . .
They lost their District opener 0-10 to Potlatch at Lewiston Tuesday, May 7, ending their season. Details next week.
