Zephyrs win 3 of 4
The Camas Prairie Zephyrs won 3 of their 4 games this past week. On Thursday, June 20, they traveled to Spirit Lake where they lost to the Northern Lakes Mountaineers 2-7. On Saturday, June 22, they hosted St. Maries at Cottonwood and swept them in a doubleheader 13-1 and 15-3. Finally, on Sunday June 23, they hosted the Mountaineers and gained a season split with an 11-10 win. . . .

Prairie Mountain Nutrition recently purchased signs to point out the location of weekly dinners for senior citizens in the lower level of the Cottonwood Community Hall. The purpose of the meal site is to serve well-balanced meals, promote socialization and well-being to our seniors.  Dinners are served every Tuesday at 12:00 noon.  Featured in the photo L to R are board members:  Mary Funke, Sheryl Westhoff, Tiffany Forsmann, Connie Schumacher, Dar Forsmann,  Lynn Thompson, Brandy McElroy, and Connie Uhlenkott.  Not shown are Carol Altman, Lindsey McElroy and Della Gehring.
