games this past week. On Tuesday, Jan. 14, they traveled to Lapwai and

Lady Pirates beat both Lapwai and Grangeville within 5 days The Prairie Lady Pirates won 4 games this past week, 2 of them against a
couple of the best teams on their schedule. On Tuesday, Jan. 14, they
hosted Troy and won 72-18. On Thursday, Jan. 16, they took over sole
possession of first place in the league with a 55-49 win over Lapwai at
Cottonwood. On Saturday, Jan. 18, they won 74-34 at Kendrick. Finally
on Monday, Jan. 20, they won 57-56 at Grangeville.

| Schacher earns first place medal at Clearwater Classic Avery Schacher earned a first place medal
in the girls 165 lb. weight class at the Clearwater Classic wrestling
tournament at Lewiston Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17-18.

| Patriot teams lose 4 games The St. John Bosco girls lost two games
this past week. They lost to Deary 37-49 at home on Tuesday, Jan. 14
and at the Clarkston JV 35-38 on Thursday, Jan. 16.
The boys meanwhile lost at least 2
games. They lost to Deary 36-51 at Cottonwood on Tuesday, Jan. 14 and
lost to C.V. at Cottonwood 38-52 on Friday, Jan. 17. They also played
the Clarkston JV at Clarkston on Thursday, Jan. 16 but we have no score available.

Riener who was selected to represent Prairie Jr High in the 21st Annual
6-8th Football All State Game which showcases the best 6th, 7th and 8th
grade football players in a Treasure Valley vs. rest of the state (Team
Idaho) format being held on June 21st. He will be joining Marshal Weber
